I won a quick trip to NYC thanks to Southwest Airlines last weekend. I regularly follow @SouthwestAir on Twitter, and they had a giveaway via Twitter for a flight for two from BWI airport to LaGuardia airport, and a free night at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. The giveaway was an effort to celebrate the launch of the Southwest BWI to NYC flight route that opened last Sunday on June 28th.

Southwest had a pre-flight party at BWI on Saturday afternoon, complete with shrimp and a Frank Sinatra performer. We flew on a chartered 35-minute flight to NYC, and we were greeted with charter buses to the city upon arrival.

Jessica and I had a great night with an evening stroll through Times Square, and a late-night dinner at Morton's Steakhouse. It was such a cool trip from a great company!
